The Microsoft J# (J Sharp) redist package allows you to run applications programmed in J Sharp on your Windows system. The package is not necessarily intended to run application which have been written in other Java variations and it should be noted that this program has not been endored by Sun Microsystems (the developers and owners of Java). Applications which have been built with Microsoft's .NET Framework will not generally work with the Java Virtual Machine which is available from Sun's web site.
